The Tbilisi City Council adopted a document approving the sexual harassment prevention and response mechanism within municipal bodies.

The project was initiated by the Gender Equality Council of Tbilisi Municipality and received support from NALAG’s partner organization, the United Nations Women.

The resolution aims to promote the establishment of an environment free from sexual harassment and discrimination within Tbilisi Municipality’s bodies, to implement prompt and effective responses to incidents of sexual harassment, and to impose proportional, adequate, and appropriate responsibility on harassers.
